A Time of Beginnings - 8” x 8” Wall Art

A Time of Beginnings is a Mixed Media one-of-a-kind artwork by Lynne Moncrieff, with layers of painted texture on watercolour paper, with a neutral colour palette. Walnut ink-stained shipping tag forms base for collage of chipboard flower with fragments of walnut ink-stained muslin heightening the textural quality with the stamped text, A time of beginnings, stamped onto walnut ink stained found paper.  Stamped dots and hand-made marks bring a feeling of flower seeds being caught up in a passing breeze as they scatter.

Collage is sealed with cold wax medium.
