Awaken the Earth - 8” x 8” Wall Art

Awaken the Earth is a Mixed Media one-of-a-kind artwork with painted background of Pearl Inks on watercolour paper. With eco dyed and rusted papers prepared by myself, coated with Acrylic Wax before forming a base for the focal stamped elements which were designed by Lynne Moncrieff. 

The stamped images rest upon CraftyBoard squares which elevate those elements slightly from the background. Awaken the earth is stamped and layered to painted paper scrap with a gathering of rusted and eco dyed papers topped with wooden bead, adding to the textural quality of this collage.

Collage is sealed with cold wax medium.
