Contentment 6” x 6” on MDF Panel

For this one-of-a-kind Mixed Media artwork of cotton rag paper adhered to MDF panel, a wash of Grey paint with Black Pearl Ink and a mere hint of Bronze Pearl Ink create the background with  a chipboard sprig, painted with Black and Bronze Pearl Inks, rests to the side of a painted chipboard circle featuring a tiny tag stamped with a bird. Fragments of walnut ink stained muslin and crochet lace enhance the tactile quality with the stamped word, contentment, setting the tone for this artwork.
