Find Yourself - 8” x 8” on MDF Panel

Layers of Walnut Ink, Acrylic Ink and Acrylic Paint on freezer paper, mounted to MDF panel, create the background for this one-of-a-kind Mixed Media artwork with hand-written script using bamboo dip pen and black ink, also creating wonderful splatters of ink. A distressed, walnut ink stained shipping tag sees one of Lynne’s Wildflowers, stamped onto it with black ink.  This tag forms the basis for a gathering of walnut ink and black bean stained fragments of muslin, crochet lace and chiffon, topped with the stamped words “Find yourself”. Appearing on upper left side, buttons attached to walnut ink stained muslin squares, resting on circles.
