Days Decrease 8” x 8” MDF Panel

This one-of-a-kind Mixed Media artwork has an atmospheric background in tones of grey with subtle hints of Antique Gold. Strips of machine stitched vintage French book pages prepared with white Gesso and ink bring visual and textural detail with smaller piece of eco-dyed paper coated with wax and the addition of painted marks. A dragonfly collage stamp features on a stained teabag (with contents of teabag disposed of) with the stamped words, “Days decrease”, bringing a contemplative tone to this collage.
