From The Garden on MDF Tag size #10 – 4.2” x 8.4” (No2)

Layers of eco-dyed, eco-printed and rusted papers and fabrics appear on this one-of-a-kind tag. The initial layer onto the MDF tag is eco-printed rice paper with beautiful rusty tones. To this the layers consist of a piece of rusted sheet music, eco-dyed handmade papers, a length of rusted calico with torn/frayed edges, an eco-dyed shipping tag toped with an eco-printed leaf onto handmade paper.  Below this, a rusted screw wrapped with eco-dyed vintage French cotton thread. To the top of the tag, a rusted piece of handmade paper with a marking displayed on it and to the side of this, a piece of rusted fabric is wrapped around a twig to create a hanging of sorts. 

Artwork is coated with cold wax medium
