Wisdom 8”x8” on MDF Panel

This one-of-a-kind Mixed Media artwork comprises cotton rag paper painted with washes of ink to create a loose, organic feel, with black pearl ink forming splatters, before mounting to MDF panel. A chipboard feather is the focal element with texture achieved by the application of inks and paints including walnut ink with interference gold paint providing subtle shimmer. Resting behind the feather, a painted circle of found paper embellished with rusted washer touched with a hint of interference gold paint. The stamped word Wisdom, sits upon painted papers scraps. The neutral colour palette with the hints of gold and bronze bring a sense of the timeless to this mixed media panel.
